PARKnSHOP pioneered food donation in Hong Kong in 2012, becoming the first supermarket to donate surplus food. It has collaborated with Food Angel, collecting and utilising surplus food through daily donations and the annual City Food Drive campaign. Its recent efforts raised almost HK$1.6 million in food and donations over eight weeks, enabling Food Angel to produce over 100,000 meals and 20,000 food packs.

In addition, PARKnSHOP launched the City Food Drive Summer Internship Programme with Food Angel to foster young talents and promote sustainable community service as part of their 10th anniversary celebrations. Their initiatives continue to make a significant impact in addressing food waste and helping those in need.
