Surplus food donation programme

Description

Since 2012, PARKnSHOP has pioneered amongst Hong Kong supermarkets to put surplus produce to good use, launching the territory’s first surplus food donation programme. So far, more than 600 tonnes of food has been contributed, which has helped Food Angel make more than 2 million hot-meal boxes to feed the needy. The food donation programme has now expanded to over 120 stores, donated produce included vegetables, fruit, bread, poultry, meat, and packaged food.
